Second to my roles as “Mama” and “Wife”, I am passionate about soulful movement, clean eating, clean beauty and the pursuit of mindful living and a use-less lifestyle. I discovered Sculpt/HIIT yoga in 2018, and fell in love. Sculpt/HIIT yoga combined all the elements my body craves, physically and mentally. Add in a killer playlist and a fun, authentic classroom vibe and BOOM…I was hooked. In 2019 I began certification to become a Yoga Sculpt instructor, and in early 2020 The Sculpt Social was born! People opt into a HIIT yoga class for many reasons, but most everyone ends class with a common feeling. Accomplishment. In my classes you will hustle…and you will sweat. For me, the sweat is THE gift. It’s a physical reminder that I am showing up, pushing myself mentally and physically and, most importantly, leaving behind what no longer serves me, right on the mat. Letting go of whatever is holding me back so that I can be my best version of myself. I am so excited to share this gift with you in hopes that it provides you with the same sense of release and helps you reset. Join me!
What is HIIT Yoga?
While HIIT yoga uses poses that will be familiar to you if you are a yogi, these poses are a jumping off point for a more cardio-heavy, more intense version of exercise. Instead of holding poses and flowing slowly and precisely to the next pose, you’ll flow quickly through poses to get your heart pumping, and when you do hold poses you’ll usually incorporate reps with hand weights. You will be sweaty!
Each class is designed to be physically and mentally challenging, but it’s up to you how you decide to push yourself. Listen to your body! You can modify anything - move at your own pace, drop weights, add weights - and know that it is a process. Show up where you are and know that every day is different.
